Very unique 1850s Armenian Artsakh (Nagorny-Karabagh) with great colors from Hadrut. The Dragons are missing here. Never seen one like this. But the typical “cross rosettes” and “facing serpents”, and other archaic motifs are all present here. A similar rug with the typical Dragon extensions can be seen on pg. 44 of Manya Ghazarian’s book “Armenian carpets” on display at Sardarapat Museum, Armenia 6'8" x 4'9"
