STUNNING abrash on this 1894 dated Armenian Karachov with an Armenian inscription “Mansadyan Hripsimeh”

This is the BEST Karachov type B I have ever seen. Full pile, perfect condition, always been hung on the wall. The beauty of the abrash is indescribable. It shifts from blue to green and back.

BTW, there has always been controversy on the location of the village of Karachov. There shouldn’t be. Every single map from every single rug book in the 20th Century places it just north of Lake Sevan. Karachov is an Armenian design. Period.
