The vast majority of rug enthusiasts would have designated this rug Avar, Shahsavan, Kurdish or anything else except what it REALLY is—Armenian. The ignorance of Armenian medieval art is mind boggling. It’s so OBVIOUS to Armenians this rug is 100% ARMENIAN. Our neighbours have done a GREAT job brainwashing everyone.
